Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over the last 125 years, we've established a new campus, expanded our program offerings and adopted a new name. All the while, we've maintained a commitment to preparing our students to be the best in various realms of health care. Commitment to Excellence Scholarship

The Clarkson College Commitment to Excellence Scholarship is new.

Beginning with the Fall 2024 semester, all new incoming undergraduate students are eligible to receive a Clarkson College Commitment to Excellence Scholarship.

All new incoming students not receiving a Founders’ or Community Scholarship are eligible for the following:

Bachelor’s Degree: $4,000 ($1,000 per year)
Associate’s Degree: $2,000 ($1,000 per year)

All scholarship totals listed are calculated at the maximum lifetime amount of each. This scholarship award is in addition to your financial aid award package.

Scholarships are renewable for up to two years for an associate’s degree and four years for a bachelor’s degree,
provided satisfactory academic progress and good standing are maintained, as outlined by Clarkson College policies. No application is required for this scholarship.

Awards are applied to tuition only. The Clarkson College Commitment to Excellence Scholarship, Founders’
Scholarship, and Community Scholarship may not be used in conjunction.
